Assistant Principal

I am a proud graduate of Everman ISD, and I am honored to now serve the very community that helped shape my own educational journey. With over two decades of dedicated service in public education, I bring a deep passion for teaching, learning, and leadership.

I hold a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Wesleyan University, a Masterโ€™s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Womanโ€™s University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Jarvis Christian College.

Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, reading specialist, department chair, and behavior facilitator. These positions have allowed me to support students and teachers across general education, special education, English Language Learners, and behavior intervention programs.

In 2025, I was honored to be named Baxter Junior Highโ€™s Campus Teacher of the Year and Everman ISDโ€™s Secondary District Teacher of the Year.

I take pride in creating inclusive classroom environments, building meaningful relationships with students, and supporting teachers through effective classroom management strategies. Additionally, I serve as a Clinical Teaching Supervisor and Adjunct Professor at Texas Christian University, where I mentor aspiring educators entering the profession.

My leadership philosophy is rooted in equity, respect, and high expectations. I believe in meeting each learner where they are and providing the tools they need to succeed academically, emotionally, and socially.

In addition to my service in Everman ISD, I have contributed my leadership and instructional expertise in Fort Worth ISD, Houston ISD, and Chicago Public Schools. No matter where I serve, my mission remains the same: to empower students and educators to reach their full potential.
