I have been an educator for 32 years all in Everman ISD. During my career I have had the privilege to teach 1st grade, 5th grade, and was an Instructional Reading Specialist before becoming a school counselor. I grew up in Fort Worth, TX where I attended Eastern Hills HIgh School. After high school I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from The University of Texas at Arlington. Years later I received a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX, and then went on to receive another Master’s in School Counseling.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love to read and listen to music. Going to the movies, watching movies at home and eating out at familiar and new restaurants is my favorite pastime

As a school counselor it is my desire to work with all students, teachers, parents and all stakeholders to ensure that all students achieve success and help them to be a well rounded individual.
