Townley teachers, Mrs. Strachan and Mrs. Thacker were selected to attend a weekend retreat at The Holdsworth Center's Campus on Lake Austin! Of the 2,000 nominations, 150 teachers got word to pack their bags, they're headed to Austin this fall for an all-expenses paid retreat!

This week, fourth grade has started a new unit on the American Revolution and are learning about the significance of the French and Indian War by performing vignettes.

Alex (in Mrs. Underwood's class) brought some of his brother's microscope slides for show & tell! The students were able to use the microscope from the science lab (thanks to Mrs..Sumpter) to see muscle, bone, and more fascinating things up close!
